Vitamin B12 is not just a vegan concern!
Vitamin B12 is a nutrient that is essential to human health. It is produced by bacteria found in soil. Before large-scale farming and pesticide use, humans and animals alike got their vitamin B12 from food grown in soil. But due to soil desertification and mineral depletion, B12 is no longer found in most of the soil that we grow our food in.
Last month a new Facebook group was created that enables people to donate and repurpose recyclables and consumables to help reduce waste! You can donate your recycling or any unwanted goods for people to collect for free.
