Seafood Giant Thai Union To Launch Vegan Shrimp 2021

The world’s largest tuna producer and one of the world’s largest producers of seafood, Thai Union, has announced their plans to release a tempura vegan shrimp product this year.

Group director, Tunyawat Kasemsuwan, told Under Current News that the product  “tastes exactly like shrimp tempura, but made without shrimp”.

With plant-based fish set to be the next big plant-based trend, we are seeing more and more plant-based seafood products popping up across Thailand and around the world.
