Support the ‘Run The Future’ Marathon by making your plant-based pledge today! By pledging to eat plant-based food for 10, 20, 30 or 50 days, you will be pledging for the planet. You will be showing the world that you are helping to fight climate breakdown with the single biggest climate action you can take – diet change.

Using source data collected from data and peer reviewed journals, we’ve calculated how much GHG (Greenhouse gas emissions), water usage and land you’ll be saving every day by eating plant-based. You will also be saving dozens of animals in the process! And guess what? A plant-based diet is the healthiest diet on the planet!

Why Plant-Based?

Eating a plant-based diet could be the “single biggest way” to reduce your environmental impact on earth. – Oxford University

Researchers at the University of Oxford found that cutting meat and dairy products from your diet could reduce an individual’s carbon footprint from food by up to 73 per cent.

What Is Plant-Based?

Plant-Based food is food that is made entirely from plants. Plant-based food is completely free of all animal products including dairy, egg, fish, meat, honey or any animal derived ingredients such as gelatine.

Keeping On Track

We’ve partnered with Challenge 22 and a number of plant-based restaurants across Thailand to bring you weekly tips, deals and recipes to keep your pledge on track! Thai Vegan Challenge 22 is an NGO that aims to help people adopt a vegan lifestyle. The ‘challenge’ happens as frequently as every month in the Facebook group, which will allow you to get started anywhere! They offer nutrition insights, plant-based recipes, helpful tips, and friendly support from mentors… and the best part is, it’s 100% free.

Join The Run or Run A Virtual Marathon

If you would like to join the marathon in person, you can! You can choose to run 5km, 10km, 21km, 42km or even the entire 50km! All you need to do is sign up via the facebook event page! If you would like a marathon t-shirt, simply place your order via Facebook or IG before race day.

Wearing this running top will be a form of passive activism and proactive climate action! You will be spreading the message about climate solutions and helping to raise awareness about climate change as a whole… ultimately you’ll be helping to save our planet by spreading the word!
