Novak Djokovich is one of the world’s most well-known plant-based (vegan) athletes and won the match-winning his 7th Wimbledon title!

“There is obviously a huge impact as well on climate change that people maybe don’t talk about as much. It’s more than a performance for me, it’s a lifestyle. Something that I’m really proud of and hopefully that community grows”, Novak added.

The Wimbledon final saw Novak Djokovich battling it out with another plant-powered athlete – Nick Kyrgios. Nick Kyrgios was quoted saying, “I don’t eat meat or dairy anymore. That’s not for my health, I just don’t believe in eating animals”.

It won’t be long until even more professional athletes realise that switching to a plant-based diet gives you a competitive edge!
