GMC has announced plans to launch a fully electric Hummer later this year. GMC claims this will be the “world’s first zero-emissions, zero-limits all-electric super-truck”, that is “engineered to conquer nearly any terrain”.
The EV Hummer will have all the interior luxuries and extreme off-road capabilities as the original Hummer models. The vehicle will also feature an Electric Vehicle Sound Enhancement (EVSE) system which creates a ‘multisensory experience designed specifically for the HUMMER EV cabin.’
We are crossing our fingers that, in the near future GMC will go one step further in the name of sustainability by implementing plant-based leather.

This comes after General Motors recently announced it hopes to produce nothing but zero-emission vehicles by the year 2035. GMC’s EV Hummer pickup will be available for purchase in Autumn 2021 and the Hummer Supertruck will be available in early 2023.
